How much PLM does a small Apparel business need?  I interviewed an owner of an Ontario Apparel company.  She has the whole chain of Apparel design and sample development done in two rooms she rented. Most of the work is done manual.  There is not communication barrier as the number of workers are less than 10 in total and they share initiatives and change requests face to face.  They do not need online collaboration.  They do not have many product lines to manage.  They supply local customers and they use local suppliers for materials and end products.  Sounds like there is not a need for a small business as such to catch up with buzz word like "PLM".  Could it also mean that current PLM slogans are missing some pictures about small businesses?  Are there any PLM solutions or tools in the market that focus on small businesses?
